Sadie's 3sons LLC ("we", "us") operates the Grow Your Own mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address and display name, used to create and secure your account.
- Content you create: grow records, journal entries, notes, photos, environmental readings (temperature, humidity, pH, EC/TDS/PPM), health observations, milestones, and reminders.
- Device & usage data: basic technical data needed to operate the App, such as push notification tokens (only if you enable notifications).
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's features, including storing and syncing your grow data.
- To send the reminders and notifications you configure.
- To provide optional AI-powered plant health analysis (see below).
- To secure your account and respond to support requests.
AI Photo Analysis
If you choose to analyze a plant photo, that image is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate a health assessment that is returned to you. We do not use your photos to train models. This processing happens only when you explicitly request an analysis.
Data Storage
Your data is stored on our backend infrastructure (Convex). We use industry-standard measures to protect it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the App (e.g., our hosting, email, and AI providers) or as required by law.
Your Choices & Rights
- Access & edit: you can view and edit your grow data at any time in the App.
- Delete your account: you can permanently delete your account and associated data from within the App's settings.
- Notifications: you can disable push notifications in the App or your device settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 17 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
